Unusual file name extension and size

I have a hidden file that is 607GB on a 931GB Hard Disk with the extension (.DErQc). What is this file doing?

I wouldn't want that! Do a virus scan and report what the file properties says.

I really doubt a virus is 607 GB in size.

Again, what is the filename and extension, along with what folder?

The same here, unless it is some type of ransomware.

    More Info

The file name was unintelligble and over 150 characters long.
I checked a few file extension sites and they had no idea.
I thought it might have been a hidden file with search info as I have searching set to file content also.
I have deleted it and recovered the 600+GB.
    It has been dormant since.
It was in the root of drive D.
Drive C is my SSD boot drive and D the data Disk

maybe its an image of a partition or a backup file.
