File Manager for Sorting Files by Creation Date Across Folders

I am needing to sort all data files on my disk in chronological order.

Does anybody know of a free app that will let me sort all my files in chrono order?

This came up in my first search:

    Total Commander
    Total Commander - Wikipedia
    Total Commander - home
    Total Commander - TOTALCMD.NET

It sounds like it will do the job during the trial period, but I thought 37.- Euros ca 47USD a bit steep.

In searching "file manager for windows 10" I found this page. https://www.thewindowsclub.com/free-...ftware-windows
    with more hits following.

Does anyone one know if the file managers on this list, or elsewhere, will help me?

Thanks for any suggestions and recommendations,

There's a great drive search tool called "Everything" from voidtools.com.

It's sorting options include a choice for "date created, ascending" and "date created, descending".

I have no idea if it will serve your purposes, but it's free and worth a try.

    Lightning fast. Intuitive.

It's not a "file manager" per se, but I search, sort, and copy the output from it with no issues, just using the mouse.

Example of pdf, doc, docx across all disks, sorted by date created (other options exist).

Can save results to txt or HTML

Program operates in a similar way to and as fast as Everything, Ultrasearch.

    Here's an example using Everything.

I searched for all file names on the D drive that contained both the text string "jitterbug" and the text string "mp3".

    11 results found instantaneously.

Sorted by creation date seen in the right column, most recent first. I could sort by oldest first with a single mouse click at the top of that column.

If I wanted to, I could copy those 11 song files to any location simply by highlighting them with the mouse, right click, then copy, then paste at the destination folder. Not just the names, but the actual sound recordings.
