Colour changing in video when switching to full screen

    Hi Guys.
My first thread/post on here and I'm hoping someone can help. I just bought an Honor Magicbook Ryzen (China only, but I believe they are the same as the Huawei version as Honor is the budget brand of Huawei). I had to do a clean install of Windows 10 Pro (1803) as it came with a Chinese Single Language version of Win 10 Home and I can't read Chinese. I downloaded VLC and BBC iPlayer Downloads app and have noticed that when I play the video in a window it is fine, but as soon as I make it fullscreen it gets this really weird blue tint. The weird blue tint doesn't occur if I hover the cursor over the fullscreen icon in iPlayer or the search bar in VLC (which makes me think it isn't hardware related), but who wants to watch fullscreen and have that over the top?
I have searched online for a solution, but every answer seems to be about the BSOD rather than my issue. I have attached 2 photos to kinda show the issue, but it's actually way worse than it looks on them as the camera doesn't pick up the full problem, and the screenshot seems to take a shot of the normal colour.
Any help or suggestions gratefully appreciated.

    Thanks.

Update, I removed/uninstalled the AMD driver and rebooted so it used the standard Windows one and it seems to not happen anymore (only checked with iPlayer), but I would like the functionality of the AMD driver. Any update from AMD? It kinda sucks that they haven't got their shit together! I want AMD to succeed because I manufacture monitors and don't have nVidia support for my units!

What is your default browser? iPlayer uses the web browser not VLC. Have you tried updating your display drivers?

What do you mean default browser? iPlayer downloads (as mentioned in my post) has its own player. My default internet browser is Firefox cos Google are mining everything for data nowadays. The problem was occurring with both iPlayer and VLC

I then reinstalled the Vega8 driver and the problem occurred again. I'll stick with the MSFT version until AMD sort it out. It seems to be OK for what I'm doing at the minute, but like I said, I'd rather it was working correctly

Mozilla and Google do not mine data. The BBC on the other hand, mine a lot of data from its users of its iPlayer app. iPlayer uses your default web browser. VLC having the blue tint means that it is a GPU or display driver issue. There has been a problem lately with Windows 10 and some APU/CPU/GPU combo's. The Windows drivers are built by Microsoft Labs and the hardware manufacturer. There should be no need to go out and get the driver straight from the manufacturer, unless you want something extra or cannot find a default Windows driver through Windows updates.

Google don't mine data? Are you for real? I uninstalled Chrome cos it tracks almost everything! Like I said, I disabled the AMD driver and it works OK now, but I'm disappointed that AMD can't get this kinda thing sorted. The standard MSFT driver seems to work fine. Are you 100% sure about the iPlayer using the web browser? I doubt it as it is the downloads app. I'm not watching on the browser.

No, Google does not mine any user data. The only thing that they, Mozilla and Microsoft look for is system info, programs that you are using that access their servers and that is it. Everything they list in what they look for, can be disabled, same as with Microsoft in Windows. Data Collection | How Google uses your personal information Data that the BBC collects. How do you collect information about me? - Using the BBC Data that Mozilla collects. Mozilla Privacy

You asked about the tinting issue, which is a Windows/GPU/Display issue and then threw in a strawman. Everything that I posted can be found through simple searches as for what information is collected.
