Can I Delete windows nt Folder:

I just noticed that my C>Program Files folder contains a folder named 'windows nt'. It has a date of April this year. It contains stuff related to the Chinese and Ethiopian languages, and others. It also has a WordPad exe. Maybe this thing has been here all along, but I don't remember seeing it. The whole thing is millions of bytes; I'll delete it if it's safe. I assume WordPad would still be on my machine if I delete this folder. Is it safe? Thanks.

Leave it alone, it's supposed to be there. It has 7.4MB of data in two folders on my PC. This is what mine looks like:

Like having a System32 folder on a 64-bit installation, but no System64 folder?

Those names are leftovers from long time ago but many programs are using them for compatibility but what's in a name ? If they were called something else you wouldn't be curious about them.

CountMike, thanks for your input. I don't care what the name is, if it's garbage, it's garbage. I don't have anything to do with the languages I mentioned. I don't see any relationship to what I see in that folder and anything I need.

Well, you know programmers are not well known for using friendly names for files, folders and even programs, they consider it enough that they know what that means.
