I wouldn't worry about the messages. They are generated at shutdown so they are not slowing up startup. I have one more error message of the same type for VMware Workstation. Of course if anyone's Anal they want a clean Event Log.

In fact I lost power for a couple of minutes and my computer turned off. When power came back and I rebooted I didn't have any of these error messages in my Event Log. The reason being the shutdown process never occurred to produce the error messages. More proof they are shutdown messages.

I suppose there could be a bug in the shutdown process.

Well... The reason I posted here was that I Was on the hunt for a solution to my slow startup. This morning I desided to do a complete reinstallation of w10. I now have a huge number of errors including the ones in OP, but the startup is lightening fast and so is the rest of the user experience so I leave it at that.
Don't know about the anal thing...pragmatic is what I am
    Over and out

Ok, not sure if anyone is still having problems. I found a way to disable Onesyncsvc and its other components with a simple command line in Elevated Command prompt<administrative>. Deleting the service is not required, going into registry also not required.

Copy and past the following lines into Cmd prompt Press enter, restart and your done. Hope this helps

    sc stop "OneSyncSvc"
    sc config "OneSyncSvc" start= disabled

Personally, I would leave things alone. I remember disabling the services and then getting other strange Event Log messages.

You only need to disable the one. Ive been keeping track of my event logs everything seems fine.

    Edit--
I had some Errors mostly because of upgrading from windows 7 and not doing a clean install,
One was a Microsoft mouse and keyboard software update but didnt update associated tasks properly.
Another for kaspersky kl1.dll antivirus i didn't even have installed but dll and registry's remained.
Other errors related to windows media center task scheduling and a couple other void tasks.

After working through them all i managed to eliminate all errors in event manager.

    My understanding is doing the
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\OneSyncSvc]

    Start=4 does same exact thing

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/165748
scroll down little bit and you see
    Boot 0x0 =0
    System 0x1 =1
    Automatic 0X2 =2
    Manual 0x3 =3
    Disabled 0x4 =4

Either way I have had this issue from day one, and know what caused and when since day two. doing either or we will never know when this is fixed. but if you look at eventviewer alot dont like seeing error, this is usfull. Im gona give MS while to see if they fix it before. before my ocd about seeing error makes me disable it. seeing it the only remain error i get every day

Just disable it if you don't use it, I was just getting the error because i opted out of Onedrive in windows settings. I can confirm zero side effects from Disabling this service. I can also confirm the service Stays disabled. Confirmed errors gone, confirmed on confirmed.

I opted out of Onedrive, Hell I out right removed it, upon first boot (powershell and app removal) removed it from explore.exe too via registry. it more of I want to see how long it will take for MS to fix it or attest list the service in admin>services cause the service was there in earlier tech builds but was removed from rtm for some reason

Ok I got this fixed! no need to delete the service. All you need to do is to use regedit and disable the service from regedit
    for this go to:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\OneSyncSvc]

change the value for "Start" to 4 (original is 2)
This will disable the service and no more errors :)
We can turn it back on when there is a fix!
Just FYI disabling this service also breaks the Mail, Calendar and People apps. It will prevent you from adding new accounts (you'll get an 0x80070402 error), and also prevents them from syncing (you'll get an "account settings out of date" error).

If you don't use those apps then I guess it won't matter to you, but if you want to use them you'll need to set the Start value to 3 (manual) and reboot. You may also need to remove and re-add your account(s) in those apps.
