Desktop shortcut with a path to"AppData" loses it's icon.

    path: C:\Users\name\AppData\Roaming\
For some reason any Desktop shortcut with a path to"AppData" loses it's icon.
The first shortcut looks correct, but after a restart, it becomes blank even with: Properties> Change icon.

    Try this:

    Run "regedit"
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ExplorerChange "Max Cached Icons" to 10000 or more. Upper and Lowercase SENSITIVE!
If it doesn't exist create it as new "string"
RebootAfter thatGo to "C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local"Delete IconCache.dbReboot again

Try creating a new shortcut like this:
    Desktop shortcut with a path to"AppData" loses it's icon.-1.jpg

The result (shown) survived a restart.

Note- I've not tried creating one with a path as yours for comparison.
