Understanding when it happens always helps. Sure enough I searched.

If you search the term "Discord causes PC hang freeze" the hits are numerous.

A couple mentioned Bitdefender, is that your AV

Also a couple of mentions about disabling Hardware acceleration (Appearance Tab)

    Some mentions Overlays.

Several mentioned software conflict so you could look at a Clean boot, not clean install, but boot.

Start Discord and your game and then do what you do to get it to lock. If it doesn't lock add more apps.

Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 10 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts

I did do all of those things but nothing helped. So far I haven't gotten any crashes and this is what I did:
    1. Disable "Lock Screen"
    2. Do a clean install of Discord and run it in compatibility mode for Windows 7

I'll report back if the crashes return.

No matter what I tried the problem always returned. I went back to 1709 and everything is perfect. For those needing to know how to go back, I used this website to get the 1709 iso: http://windowsiso.net/windows-10-iso/

    Crap.

I wonder if it is the OS or the third party drivers?

Is all your software supported under WIndows 10? Not does it run, is it supported?

Maybe 1809, when it gets released will fix. 1709 has a limited support window, it is listed as April 2019.

There are two log collectors: DM and BETA
The BETA log collector will collector will collect more useful logs.
At some time the BETA log collector will replace the DM log collector.

Please run the BETA log collector located in the bottom half of this web page and post a zip into this thread:

Well, I know the reason now.
    It was an BIOS setting.
When loading the defaults, it was fixed.

    The suspected setting is :

    EPU Power saving mode.
