It did change by itself.....now is always no password, but sometimes I see the pwrd requied-screen flash for an instant.

Think I asked which box to press to be able to go into bios to disable fastboot and secureboot.

    Have "regular" type HDD

Cannot do DM log thing cant use any links, as I said, it wont let me type stuff in/enter info in any boxes. Got lucky that it let me go to "reset/reinstall" windows before, which I did.

Jusy about the only thing it lets me do is the f12 thing, that shows the diagn and other boxes......so which box might let me find safe mode, or disable the fast/secure thing. I think thats all there is.

If that fresh clean install spoken about is not the same as the one Ive alrady done, and if I need to type something in or click on some link in w10 forum somewhere, its game over.....like I say.....it wont let me do it.

If you can use the keyboard then you may be able to open safe mode

Windows recovery is another option with the bootable windows 10 iso.

Please indicate whether the keyboard is or is not working.

    @ImLost

Since you have a regular type HDD, that tells me something. Do you hear any noises coming from your computer? noises like "clicking" sounds?

I'm honestly thinking your HDD is failing!!!

    Use the keyboard to type:
    1) win + x (simultaneously)
    2) a
    3) alt + y (simultaneously)
    4) (a box should appear)
If it is a blue box then it is administrative powershell
If it is a black box then it is administrative command prompt

What color box do you see after the above 3 steps?

If you cannot use the mouse and cannot use the keyboard then find a friend, neighbor, relative, or local computer store than can make for you a free bootable Windows 10 iso.

You can borrow it or give them a flash drive that can be formatted. It should be 8GB or larger.

keyboard?? sometimes the letters come out, sometimes no, sometimetimes show up then disappear, most everything is erratic, I dont know to say if its the keyboards fault, or because of the way everything is fouled up.

See if you can perform the 3 steps above and report into the thread whether the box does or does not pop up.

If you cannot perform this step then see post #128 and indicate whether one of the options is possible.
