at the top, you will see "Notifications" highlighted in an odd color. Just click that, and click on the the link in the drop down menu, and it'll take you to your messages where you can click on the Message Subject to view the message.

The reason I was going to PM you is because I need to know if we can converse via email but I wouldn't know your email address. So I'll get going with PM'ing in a few minutes.
Hey everyone, taking a thread offline is against forum policy. One of the advantages of this forum is the posts can be used by others to solve their problems. Taking it offline is frowned upon.

I understand what you mean by taking it offline. In post #67 I mentioned "I'm hoping to get ImLost into a positive pathway to get the computer up & running if possible by continuing with this thread." Originally it sounded like I would have been willing to fix it if I could but the truth is my aim of that statement is the goal. I do not intend to fix the computer outside of this thread and I shouldn't have mixed apples with oranges.
EDIT: After reviewing this situation I can see how it can be taking it offline and I'll abide by your input.

@ImLost, finish the testing as has been requested. Afterward I believe it would be good to let us know that even if you can't log in, is the date & time correct when you boot up? Please don't give up yet.

I dont get this at all, now sounds like not able to give help on herer (??).

Comp is going crazy now, flashing/jumping around, may as well shut it and press the diagn again, see what happens.
Cost of bringing to a shop for diag/and-or repair prob not worth it, compared to new cheap one ordered at $380.
Have had incredible bad luck with comps for a while,3 or 4 past 6 years, right after warranty, or worse. An HP before this, they had me send it back 3 times, still charged me a few bucks instead of an HP "credit", because I had it for 6 months, said it couldnt be fixed.

    ***MEAND......did you get my email?

********EDIT******.....ok, I shut it down, back on, the date and time is correct

I did the diagn again, same thing as b4, "no problems.......run remaining memory tests?......continue? 4hrs 4mins, etc. "

(*****EDIT***** - (how the heck can it say "No Problems Found.....)

That's a very good sign. Did the screen look normal while you ran the Diagnostics? Did the mouse behave itself, or did it jump around like you say it does in Windows?
