    Diagnostics and Feedback fault.

    Hi all.
I appear to have a problem in W10 v 1803, with Diagnostics and feedback settings.
I noticed that the said named settings were set on "Full", i therefore reticked the "Basic" box instead.

To cut to the chase, it reverts back to FULL all the time.
What is happening here? Who runs our computers, we or Microsoft.

    Hello Graham,

If you like, you could use step 3 in Option Five of the tutorial below to force this to "Basic".

Odd. Just to verify, were you signed in to an administrator account when you merged the .reg file?

Did it merge successfully this time?

If you had Settings open, be sure to close and reopen it to see the change.

    Hi Brink.

No it did not reset, however, as there appeared to be other problems I reinstalled system from a backup.

    That did the trick.

Many thanks for your help. very much appreciated.
    Graham.
ps; I had managed to eventually to get Firefox to work prior to reinstalling. No longer! Back to old problem.
