    Need some help with windows 10?


    Hi, I just installed a fresh copy of windows 10 off of Microsoft website and I installed it now when ever I install software of other stuff when I restart or shutdown its all gone nothing is there that I have installed its like a new windows 10 but with out anything on it that I have installed. How can I fix's this its really bother some. That I have to keep installing stuff after restart or shutdown? Please help I'm lost. Thank you

    A bit confused.....the software you are installing is "after" you did a clean install of windows 10?

    Hi sorry about that. Ok I just made a fresh install of windows 10. When I try to install software, it install right but then I restart the computer or shutdown the pc it goes to my fresh copy of windows but what Iv noticed is that everything software wise is all gone like I did not install the software I have downloaded.     Sounds like you have two different installs of Windows on your hard drive. Any software you install, should show up in All Programs in Start.

    What is in your Program Files and Program files (86) can you open those folders post a picture?

    I don't have anything installed so theres really nothing to show you guys but here they are. :)

    In addition to the above steps see if you can fix the problem by using a different user.

    Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    1) sfc /scannow
    2) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    3) chkdsk /scan
    4) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread
    5) net user test /add
    6) shutdown /r
    7) sign on with the new user named test
    8) download and install google chrome or mozilla firefox and report the results into the thread after a reboot.

    The os and disk file system look fine.
    Please try the new user named test with a browser download to see if it works.
