Hi, can you confirm you mean CTRL D - or do you mean Win key + D as per your previous post? Thanks.

Sorry i meant win+d, that part with icons flashing has even nothing to do with chrome, it happens, when i pres win+d on desktop.
Or when i am in windows explore and press ctrl+d.

Yes, the desktop icons flash (mine is 1709) when pressing Win D. Do you consider that a bug, or want a change in behaviour? How often do you use Win D? I hardly ever do..

However I find CTRL D has no effect on my icons.

Yes please i want change in behaviour, that's why i am asking, yes i consider, that as a bug, why would you want your icons flash, it is very unpleasant for my eyes.

Whenever i have some windows on fullscreen and want to back to desktop, i would have to press multiple times minimalize, so i use win+d all the time.
Instead i would have to click bottom right, win+d is much faster, when i click bottom right corner, icons still flashes unsuprisingly.

Sorry, other than finding a few others mentioning this on the internet, I've not seen any sort of fix, nor noted this reported before here.

It's Win+M that minimizes all open folders and programs at once bringing you to desktop.

Maybe this has been answered, but if not maybe this will be of some interest.

<Win>+<M> is used to minimize all open windows in the display.

<Win>+<D> is used to display the desktop. If there are applications open with <Win>+<D> is pressed those applications are minimized and the desktop is displayed. If <Win>+<D> is pressed the applications are un-minimized.

Note: <Win>+<D> can also be <Win>+<d>

OOPS!!! My earlier post referenced "<Win>-<D>". This is an error. It should be <Win>-<d>. The capital "D" does not work. Only the lower case "d" works. I apologize for the error.

Capital D doesn't work because you have to also hold Shift button and that makes it all new key-press combo. Caps lock makes no difference.
