Disable or change keyboard shortcuts
I use a lot of keyboard shortcuts (via Hotkeyp). But it's awkward wiggling around the plethora of built-in shortcuts, most of which I will never use. how can I alter them?

One way is to use Autohotkey (free). One of its many functions is to define/redefine hotkeys and hotkey combos using a script.
For example, one I did for someone recently:
^j:: run, explorer.exe microsoft-edge:
CTRL j launches Edge.
Put the line in a text file, extension .ahk
Install Autohotkey
Rt click the .ahk file to Compile it, producing an exe file.
Have that run at startup.
Autohotkey has an extensive help file with examples.

Very good, thanks Dalchina. I'm currently studying Autohotkey and will pursue this. Upon testing I just found that Hotkeyp shortcuts override the windows ones so it's not so big a problem after all.
