    I suggest you post a screenshot to indicate just where you want to "add a program" because there might be a misunderstanding otherwise.

    My research shows to right click on an empty space on the navigation bar and open properties but there Is no properties choice.

    Herm,

    Correct. There isn't a "Properties" option when you right click inside the navigation pane of File Explorer.

    If you could provide a screenshot showing what and where you want to add what program, we may be able to better help.

    However, you can only add locations in the navigation pane of file explorer, and not apps.
