I have over the last year or so populated this dropdown with many entries that I now want to remove. I see how to do it file by file (thanks to your tutorials) but would like to reset/clear out these dropdown lists to start again.

Hi, never noticed that before- but I don't bother with tags, so I'll tag along to see what happens.
My list makes little sense. Its content is not:
a. in the registry as text
b. some autocomplete list I recognise
c. file names
d. things I've searched for
e. all immediately familiar to me - i.e. from some other source
f. in other tag data
Some do contain some terms I'm familiar with - others not at all.
Example: aapl -> nasdaq:aapl
- no idea why.
I'm wondering if this is related to the Windows search index - content search phrases
