Noticed yet that Cortana can read your emails?

Turn On or Off Cortana Suggested Reminders in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials
Cortana reminds you of the important stuff – even when you forget to ask - Windows Experience BlogWindows Experience Blog

    - I initially guessed that applied to emails processed by Mail, but it seems to apply to
an Outlook.com or Office 365 work or school account
    and initially in the US.

I would imagine that will fill certain people with alarm and foreboding.
Anyone for Thunderbird or similar and non-MS email services?

I have no issues with Cortana reading my e-mails. I'd love it if she could handle most of my dull work e-mails for me!

Yes, Cortana can read your emails, if you let her. She can also search the web, if you let her:

As long as Cortana can be controlled to your preference, there's nothing wrong with this feature. Maybe it should be disabled, instead of changing the group-policy or registry settings, but that's just my preference.

I may consider using Cortana to read my emails, if:

    1. She can manage spam
    2. Cortana tracks down the origin of the email
    3. She files a complaint with source domain's abuse@whatev.domain"

Two posts related to the topic have been deleted so far. Privacy is a one way in the UK and the rest is a real McCoy American joke.

Why were two posts related to the topic deleted?
A swath of post #47 was excised. However, I presume the edit was done by the poster.
