Everything on my computer is blurry

All of the text, images, etc. have become blurry for some reason. This is especially noticeable when zoomed in with the Magnifier tool. I just updated (I believe to version 1803), and this wasn't happening until after the update.

To specify, when looking at the text and images anywhere on my computer, whether it be on the internet or in my files saved to my computer, they appear "vectorized." There is no "stair stepping" pixelization on the edges, but rather a strange, smooth edge that looks very unappealing, and makes text difficult to read.

I included an image of what the text looks like on my screen, hopefully you can see it on your screens.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this? I've been searching for hours, and nothing I can find on the internet (ClearType, Advanced Scaling, etc.) has helped. Thank you very much to anyone who can offer me any assistance!

Try updating your video driver from your computer/motherboard manufacturer to the latest.

I tried that, but it didn't work. My driver is up to date, so that isn't the problem.

Thanks, though, is there anything else I can try?

You have magnified the font to a point where it is not supported by your Video driver. Either reduce the magnification or update your video driver. You can reduce the magnification and then decrease the Resolution making your fonts and icons bigger.

I don't think that's the issue either. The only magnification being used is the Magnifier (Win +), which doesn't affect the actual size of the font, and I only used it in that image to make it clear what I was talking about, but the blur is apparent whether I'm using the magnifier or not. All of the display settings (Scale, resolution) are at their recommended settings.

I just used the magnifier and zoomed in really really close and mine exhibits the same "shadowing" Returning to normal, mine is crystal clear

I have, but it doesn't ever get rid of that issue, or make much of a difference at all, really.

Really? Perhaps your monitor is significantly smaller than mine (I have a big monitor), and you just can't see it from far away?

Perhaps try rejigging the monitor to pc cable in case it is loose or try another cable if you have one or try resetting the monitor via its on-board menu and then reboot pc.
