Here is what I am running per my specs. Added a sample in post #7
Ah. My monitor is larger, but even if I intentionally zoom out in my browser to make the text really tiny, I can still notice the issue, even if only a little. It seems off, otherwise, I wouldn't have thought to zoom in when I did.

Also, since I do occasionally use the magnifier to read text, it would really help if this was fixed, as the text becomes really difficult to read with that blur, rendering the magnifier almost useless.

Thank you for your help, though, and for providing the pictures. I can't be entirely sure if the image you posted of the text is exhibiting the same issue or not, however, because the blur on my computer applies to images as well, so even if it was perfectly normal text, it would appear as if it was indeed exhibiting the issue.

Perhaps try rejigging the monitor to pc cable in case it is loose or try another cable if you have one or try resetting the monitor via its on-board menu and then reboot pc.
I've tried this already, as well as viewing it on different monitors entirely, and in fact, with separate PCs running the same version of Windows, so I don't think it's an issue with the monitor.

Apologies for the double post, I don't see an edit button anywhere.

This problem just started earlier today on my Desktop PC. It is running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, and it had just installed The Fall Creator's Update (1709). My friend had a laptop with the update as well that turns out to have the same problem. Their's is actually 1803.

Here is a much clearer image of what the problem looks like. It isn't the shadowing that was being talked about earlier at all. That always happens on zoom. As a matter of fact, it would appear that there's a lack of shadowing. Everything almost appears to be vectorized.

I have ruled out cables, cleartype, DPI scaling, and display drivers. At least to the extent of the basic solutions. I would so appreciate someone being able to help me with this, it's very frustrating. Thank you for everyone trying so far.

Just for grins, go into the bios screen (no windows involved) and see if it shows the same?

Edit is bottom right hand corner of your post.
