    Quick question.
Before I do an I/R, I always like to have the MS product key.
I use produkey which seems to work best.
Since there are 2 keys, which one is the original?
Windows (BIOS OEM key) ----- -----
    Windows 10 Home ----- -----
If I remember, the Windows 10 Home is the generic key???

Member Superfly has written an excellent small tool used by virtually everyone here. Show Key Plus. It will give you all your answers about the key in use and OEM and all that stuff. Check it out. Very small footprint.

    Thanks,
I'll put that in my toolkit.
The produkey does the same thing, however, the Show Key Plus is easier to read. It also identifies the installed and original.
