Windows 10 folder shows as 34,1 Gb but does not contain that amount

There is something weird going on with my windows. I was cleaning out my OS drive and saw that one the main folder for my user contained over 34 Gb of stuff. Naturally i wanted to clean out all the junk, but after searching the folders within this main folder, i can barely find 2 Gb of actually stored stuff. Is this a bug, are there hidden folders i can't see? Will add a few pics to show. [One if the images says that the main folder contains 16000 folders within it, but there are just a few- and no there arent any subfolders] Any help is greatly appreciated Windows 10 folder shows as 34,1 Gb but does not contain that amount-30gb.pngWindows 10 folder shows as 34,1 Gb but does not contain that amount-2.png

C: \Users is not just an actual folder but also links to many other default folders. You need more detailed look to find where all the space is gone to. try this: Download MakeRoom - MajorGeeks

There are several Hidden Files. In File Explorer go to the View tab at the top and put a check in Hidden Files to make them viewable. 2 large hidden files that you aren't seeing now are AppData and MicrosoftEdgeBackups.
There are many other Hidden Files in the Windows directory as well.

I had this issue after the 1803 Update , Windows , CCleaner etc all reported 34-37GB to remove , I thought it was the Old Windows Installation Files causing it , so I eventually let CCleaner remove it all
