Hi there,
I get this error every few days and I have no idea where it is coming from! I understand it is perhaps because I installed 32-bit software instead of 64? But I have no clue from what program it is coming from. Please see my attached screenshot for what I see.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is it still from the same source? I don't have audiodg.exe active on my PC- I see one as part of the OS, but it's not installed. From my WinSXS it looks possible it's related to AMD devices. Your graphics card is AMD apparently, as is your CPU. However it's normally the audio graph isolation process (part of the OS).

This is an older laptop - is it specified by HP to support Win 10?
Find the faulting exe file, examine its properties, details. Who is the author?
This says some useful things about audiodg.exe and might suggest some settings changes you could try to see if there's any effect.

Hi again, thanks for the quicky reply. Yes it's still coming from audiodg.exe. Apologies I had AMD graphics on my previous laptop. I now have Intel HD Graphics 620.
Just seen the second part of your post. I hadn't updated what model laptop I have. I currently am using HP 250 G6. The audiodg.exe file is found in system32 and the author is Microsoft.
From your link I have tried methods 1-4 on seperate occasions. I will try method 5 and see what happens. Thank you very much for your help.

Good description.
A wild guess might suggest it's related to 3rd party audio processing. Think what programs you have installed that may provide their own audio enhancements.

Download and run ProcessExplorer. It does not need to be installed.
Once the error message is on the screen, start ProcessExplorer and drag the target icon and drop it on the error message window. It will show the process that generated that window highlighted in blue in the PE window.Drag-and-drop target to find an image. If you're not sure which application corresponds to which image in Process Explorer, click and drag the little gun sight icon on the Process Explorer toolbar, and drop it on any visible window to find out what process/image it is.
Then use msconfig Startup (or Task Manager Startup tab) and Services tabs to find and disable that process.
See if that gives you any more info.
If the above step works then you are set.
If it does not the message may appear in the log files.
Run the beta log collector and post a zip into this thread:
