Windows 10 will not boot after Windows 7 Dual-boot Installation.

I recently installed Windows 7 alongside Windows 10 for better support for older games, however Windows 10 will now no longer boot, it simply goes to a black screen with a circle of spinning dots with occasional disk activity. I have left it like this for at least 3 hours with no change. I can access WinRE as when booting it gives me a Windows OS Selection Screen in which I can select Windows 10 and press F8.

    Things I have tried:
Safe Mode - Backlight on, nothing else.
Safe Mode with CSM/Legacy Boot off - Same result.
    Startup Repair
bootrec.exe from Windows 10 Installation Disc
    Booting normally with CSM on/off.
Enabling boot logging - Gives me no log
    Chkdsk
    SFC

According to Microsoft (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...creen-problems) this is an issue with graphics drivers however I have not changed any graphics hardware or software on the OS.

Welcome to the forum. For duel boot you must install the old Windows first as it won't understand the boot sequence of a new version. Can you post a screenshot from disk management showing all the details. We need to see if it's a gpt disk or mbr and if it's uefi as a fix can be different

Tried adding it manually using EasyBCD, no success.

It is a UEFI system, but Windows 7 doesn't boot if CSM is turned off for some reason.Windows 10 will not boot after Windows 7 Dual-boot Installation.-diskmanage.png

The question is were are win 7 boot files on its hd or on windows 10 hd you will need to edit efi file rthere are some tools to make that simpler like Manage EFI/UEFI boot options & Manage EFI System Partitions & Fix EFI/UEFI boot issues the easy way!

That is not true at all, especially when talking about Windows 10 and Windows 7. The bcdboot command will fix it if a person installs Windows 7 second.

I booted into WinRE and used the bootbcd command in the command prompt.
It seemed to fix something as I have a metro style OS Selection.
However selecting Windows 10 just went to a black screen with the backlight on. I forced off and when it restarted it showed an error saying it needed to be repaired. I went into Startup Repair, but it failed.
I have attached the log it left. StartupRepairLog - Pastebin.com

Apparently the Bootres.dll is corrupt. Is it talking about this file?
