Unfortunately, my task manager's File options are "Run new task" or "Exit". There is nothing for "Run new task as administrator".
Select 'Run new task', there's a tick-box for 'Create this task with administrative privileges' just beneath the 'Open:' box.

    - do you not see the check box underneath?

(Not sure if there's a difference if you're logged in as a standard user- I run as admin).

There is. A standard user doesn't see that check box.

You should be able to get "Command Prompt (Admin)" by right clicking on the Windows icon top left of the desktop on my PC, It's half way down the list, but the Windows icon should be bottom left on most PC's!

You can also get that menu with the WinKey+X

You may well find it says 'powershell (admin)' instead of 'command prompt (admin)'. If so, use Powershell and just type CMD in the Powershell window to get a command prompt.

All these are great tips, thanks!

I was operating as a standard user, but when I get into the admin user's account, I do see the tick box for running with administrative privileges.

And the tip about using Powershell as admin is very helpful, too.

    Thanks again, all
