Recycle Bin Icon won't stay put on desktop.

    Hi everyone -

I deal with complex issues, but this is ridiculous! W10 Pro...

Have Auto Arrange Icons and Align Icons To Grid checked in View.
I like my Recycle Bin in the lower left hand corner of the screen.

However, it moves up four places on the left every time I log off or restart. Kind of annoying. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

P.S. A simple "refresh" of the desktop does not change it's position.

    Hello Brian,

If you like, you could put the Recycle Bin on the taskbar, and drag it to the left side.

I stick it in the start menu. Who wants to look at a trash can all day?

    Turn off the auto arrange.

To arrange icons by name, type, date, or size, right-click a blank area on the desktop, and then click Arrange Icons. Click the command that indicates how you want to arrange the icons (by Name, by Type, and so on).

    Thanks, Shawn -

    That works for me. However...
My icons work just fine in Win 7, so I don't get why Auto-Arrange should function differently in 10.

BTW - Thanks for the other user posts.
