How do I turn off OneDrive/

I have no use for this. However, no matter what I am doing, typing a letter, browsing on-line, playing a game, I get a pop-up asking me to set up OneDrive. I'm tired of this. Looking on-line says it cannot be deleted. But, now I'm getting a notice that I have a new OneDrive and I should delete the old one. Makes no sense. Right now, I quit OneDrive and can't find it anywhere on the computer. Search keeps taking me to Windows Defender.

All I want is to end the pop-ups. Any ideas?

    Hello Walter,

You could use the method in the tutorial below to disable OneDrive integration in Windows 10.

Do you have OneDrive for Business installed? That would be separate.

What you could do and this may not be intuitive, is to set up onedrive and then set all the default folders that it includes in its initial settings to not be shared and you should not see the setup prompt again. If it complains that you have to have at least one active folder, create one somewhere out of the Way, (call it false Onedrive folder), include it as the only onedrive folder and forget it

Didn't work. I got my pop-up back asking me to sign into my MS Account to set-up OneDrive. Right in the middle of a Nova video! There's got to be a way to turn off this pop-up.

It may be as simple as right clicking the OneDrive icon in the lower right task bar:

Then in the OneDrive settings tab, uncheck "Start OneDrive automatically when I sign into Windows"

If the OneDrive icon isn't in the lower right task bar, start OneDrive from the start menu, and then proceed with what I suggested above. It may or may not stop the OneDrive popup, as I don't sign into a Microsoft account; but it is worth a shot if you didn't completely remove OneDrive using a tutorial.

Yep...that's how I've always did it. Once I did, I've never been bothered by it again.

Try to disable some notifications, if you have 10 pro you surely can turn it off as per above tutorial using group policy
