Fast Startup in W10. Enable or disable?

Verified. With powercfg -h off command, a pagefil.sys, swapfil.sys, no hiberfil.sys. This was set several versions ago, and has not changed thru a version update or any monthly cumulative.

I would also like to verify what Dick just said.
With "powercfg -h off", no hiberfil.sys.
Consequently without Hibernation, no Fast Startup option.

Ah.....looks like i made a big mistake.
All i had done was un-tick Fast Start and the boxes so that the Hibernate and Sleep options were not showing in the Shut-down settings. OOPS!

I still have all the hidden files pagefil.sys, swapfil.sys, and hiberfil.sys.

That makes my post #19 complete nonsense - I have added a note to it to that effect, but if a Mod wants to delete or otherwise edit it, please go ahead.

That, in essence, is the main reason to turn off when using an SSD. Any advantage is negligible, at best. Personally (a.k.a. IMO), I would turn it off using a spinner, too. With the minor exception of a turtle speed 5400rpm. I would rather spend the few extra seconds on startup than bring yesterdays potential trash with me. Again, just IMO.
