    Ok, try the pixel setting here.. less than 3 makes it very hard to snap..

    I marked this thread as solved, and then my post explaining the resolution did not appear ! - so here goes again :

    I apologize to all the helpers for leading you on a goose chase. The feature that I desire persists, even when all four SNAP options are turned off - I'll tentatively say that it is NOT an Aero feature at all.

Solved Resizing Windows in General Support
