Some info on vro from a quick search:
VRO File Extension - What is a .vro file and how do I open it?
.vro Extension - List of programs that can open .vro files

Looks like vlc player may be able to handle it.

the prublem as i said is not of converting or reconize or open a file. in winxp vlc media will reconize and open the file but in win10 vlc media will not reconize becasue you cant see it in my computer.

With respect you didn't state anything about using vlc player in Win 10 in your original post, nor did you mention vlc player.

I suggest you post a screenshot showing your problem.

    1. What program are you using to try to access the disk? (A screenshot would show that).
    e.g. - file explorer?
    - browsing the disk using vlc player or some other player?
    2. What do you see when you examine the properties of the disk?
i.e. is there evidence of content- or nothing?
    3. Please confirm that you can play a DVD on your computer (just to check that the device is functional and you have an installed and functional player).

[corrected references to different Windows versions]

I also have vro files on disk made using a dvd recorder. I have never had any problem reading those disks in Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10 as long as the disks are in good shape. This is what a disk looks like in Windows 10 File explorer -

Your symptoms indicate that the disk has not been recorded onto - assuming that your symptoms are taken from looking at the disk in File explorer. If so, I expect that you can take the same disk to a Windows XP computer and will see the same 4.7GB empty space on them. DVD-RW / DVD+RW disks are regarded as unreliable by many people and I have found lots of difficult to read / unreadable /unwriteable disks in the past [unreadable rather than showing .4.7GB empty space on them].

    1. If you have not tried reading all the disks in File explorer then please do so and report back.
    2. If the problem also appears when reading all the disks in File explorer then please find a Windows XP computer, try reading all the disks on it using Windows explorer then report back.

If File explorer keeps refusing to read the disks then all is not lost. An application called ISOBuster can normally read the disks and allow you to extract your recordings form them.
