Preventing 'System Volume Information' forming on USB sticks in W10

    Here's the location of where you can mark your thread as solved (refer to the picture). But I have a question, doesn't that solution interfere with that folder that's on the other hard drives? I have System Restore enabled for my drive, and I don't want that going away. Also, the Search Indexer saves a file in there to identify the hard drive's "ID" for the Search Indexer.

    The method I described prevents the formation of S.V.I. folder for newly formatted (USB) drives - it does not delete existing S.V.I. folders. If you don't reformat your HDDs, they will not be affected.

    Thank you for the hint about 'solved'. NOW it is quite obvious. It was not when I complained about it.
