System Tray Icons Showing Small Even When Taskbar Set To Large

In Windows 10, I have my taskbar set to large. My taskbar shortcuts show up correctly, but my system tray icons show up small.

I have already tried rebooting, moving my taskbar to the left side and back to the bottom and rebuilding my icon cache. None have worked. The only temporary fix I have found is to change my scale to 125% and back to 100%. This works only until I leave the profile (ie. sign out, hibernate, restart or shutdown). The only problem with this method, is that it is still loading the smaller icons only larger. Which makes them look horrible.

If anyone has some ideas, I'm open to trying them.

    Thanks in advance!

Decided to blow away the user profile and start over.

I don`t think that will help, I`m pretty sure the notification icons are always small.

I think it would be senseless to have those Icons be large anyway, as you rarely use them. Not to say that you don`t use them for gaming or bench marking etc.

For example, If you wanted your MSI Afterburner or Corsair Link icon to be large, you could easily do that by simply adding it to the taskbar and removing it from the notification area.

But you would soon run out of room on the taskbar.

As far as the System icons go, I see no setting to change their size, just the ability to turn them on or off.

There may be something here that might interest you.

And with a Windows Update and reboot my icons are back to being messed up! Grrrrr!
@AddRAM In my old user profile the icons in the System Tray were large when using the large taskbar. Also, on my home laptop the icons are permanently large cause I use the large taskbar.

I need to find a fix for this! It's driving me crazy!

Ya 10 is always changing so it`s difficult. Maybe Brink will see the post and shed some light, if anyone knows he does, and if you figure it out let us all know

Maybe there`s something here. But after looking I see nothing.

I'm hoping someone can provide some information as to why this is happening. It's really annoying!

I fixed it! I goofed on a titlebar setting in Winaero Tweaker. It was my own stupid mistake!
