"Some settings are managed by your organization"

    Hello,

    I use Windows 10 Pro version 1804.
Above some settings I see the message : "Some settings are managed by your organization".

    How to fix this ?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
    Best regards.

Is this a company computer? If so it's common that the admins control the settings ... and you cannot.

    Assuming it says that in:
    • Windows Update AND
    • This is your own personal computer AND
    • You know how to use the Registry Editor

    a) Click on the 'View configured update policies' link
    b) If there's a message stating:
    > Exclude drivers from Windows quality updates
then search for, and open: regedit.exe
    c) Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
    d) Delete the ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate entry
    e) Open Windows Update and press the 'Check for updates' button
    f) After completion, that message should no longer be there

This solution fixed that for me.

I have same on Lock Screen by choice since I disabled it. But you can fix this and the others by checking 'Full' in Diagnostics & feedback, and turn 'On' Location. After the red message disappears, on next restart, you should be able to set these to what you want.

I see that message in your Windows Update.

Did you try my method above?
