I would backup w10 installation and do a w7 one to see if same issues occur. Then you could rule out the culprit being software or hardware.

I had a similar problem with my wife's PC. Very mysterious. It turned out the PC was overheating because the heatsink on the CPU was badly clogged with dust & lint. 30 seconds with a vacuum cleaner fixed the problem.
So I guess I can eliminate the system as the culprit.
I have installed a fresh copy of Win7 Pro 64 and computer shut down 2 times.
At one point it did not want to turn on after a shut down. Upon pressing power button on either case or mobo fans would try to spin up and then die. Computer only turned on after I wiggled the CPU power connector.
Culprit will likely be the CPU 8pin power cable, or the connector itself.
I really hope it's a cable, since I am not down to changing entire platform, which I would have to do when buying new mobo.
