How to Make Better Contrast to Make Words Easier to Read

I do get the change colors scheme, same as you show above. But, as started all this, clicking the 'add to chrome' box gives me the error. Thats from here (chrome browser)

I had said before there was only 6 boxes shown under "Chrome Toolkit" in the chrome webstore. But, I didnt notice where it said "view all" (because, of course, the words were small light gray against a lighter gray background....). But the "Change Colors" is not there, and as I said, it doesnt come up even when I put it into the search box. I look in the Chrome Webstore....I try the search box, and "Change Colors"....is....not....there.
I cant figure how to get a screenshot of that big list of items (without "Change Colors") from vivaldi onto this here under chrome. But I dont get how it can not be the same as what you see when you go to chrome webstore/chrome toolkit/view all.


edit: I just tried chrome webstore from google thru chrome browser.....no "Change Colors"....so I can only get it by clicking on the link in here....and get the error.....that's that.

Found, tried something called "high contrast" in the chrome webstore (the one I used to have, "Change Colors"....is just not there anymore). This shows black background, white letters so far. Much easier to read than gray letters/light gray background. Afraid to try to make any other adjustments it shows, worried it will get worse instead of tweaking it better. Gonna try shutting down, then back on, see if I still have it.

If that's some so-called 'technique' purposely done in many places, those people are idiots.....reminds of the so-called 'technique' of showing movies on tv on the middle horizontal one third of the screen and blacking out the rest, or how the 'elite' fall all over themselves and pay big bucks for a painting that looks like it was done by a 5 yr old finger painting.

sheesh, I cant continue on with this ridiculously long thread. Now trouble trying to figure out how to change the size and type of font. Things dont seem to act the way it indicates it should. I'll have to consider a fresh start/new thread/different topic title, etc. This has driven me nuts and made me look like a moron and used up so much time and effort, But it just seems like some basic things dont work out on my system. The extension I had disappearing, shows up in the store for others, but not for me. So many areas with light gray lettering. Font type/size wont change, and/or it's changing by itself. Sounds like pretty basic stuff, but.............

...........maybe my system does have some weird glitches in it? Maybe I really have to consider a fresh start/w10 "clean install"? What a wickedly confusing mess this has been for a non-techie. At any rate, thanks much for the help and incredible patience.
