    Sorry, newbie question here...

    I'm reading the tutorial Customize Command Prompt Colors, but I still don't understand what the "Popup Colors" are. I've never actually seen them. Is it for command prompts launched by an application?

    Also, does anyone know of a forum specifically for the command line?

    Open cmd prompt type a few cmds now press F7 thats the popup colour. Our forum can answer most things about cmd

    Yes, the collective experience of command line (and Powershell) to be found on this forum is as high as any you'll find elsewhere.

    Personally, I've be writing batch files commands since the days of DOS 3.2, as have many others here.
