    Batch file paste text

Suppose I frequently want to enter "Mary had a little lamb." into a form or editor. Can this be done with a batch file? (Yes, I know about AutoHotkey.)

Does that mean you don't want to use a key combination?

How do you want to do it then? You could assign a mouse button to do it (perhaps even an eye gesture if your PC is new enough) but it really depends.

I'm curious what you think a batch file would do. Obviously if you clicked on a batch file wherever you wanted to put your text would not be in focus any more and it wouldn't therefore work.

Perhaps you want to run your batch file some other way (every 15 minutes perhaps) on the off chance entering "Mary had a little lamb" would be constructive.

If you think it through you will realise that you need a trigger and that trigger will be probably need to be a human input - via keyboard, mouse or something. So AutoHotKey would be pretty much perfect.

I can't think of one, sorry. Can't think how it would work.

Give an example of exactly what you want to do... (I don't do cmd/batch... PS only)
