Windows 10: Can change permissions of whole folders, have to do it file by file

    As a test, sign in to the built-in Administrator account, and see if you're able to access the files while signed in to this account.

    Unfortunately not, attempting to take ownership and reset permissions on the administrator account still ends up with the same result. Attempting to view the files results in being told I don't have the correct permissions and attempting to copy the files results in being told I need permission from the administrator even while being ON the elevated administrator account.
