    Timeline Using Mobo Name not PC name how can i change


    Windows 10 Timeline uses the MOBO name not the PC name!!How can I make WIndows 10 Timeline use the PC name?

    It seems stupid to use the motherboard name as many people will have no idea.

    I assume reason is because if it used pc name, if you change it, then all history would be lost.

    I am not sure as all the demonstrations and website I have looked at show Windows Surface 1 or Surface 2. So that does not fit your assumption plus if you changed and have activity linked to cloud switched on it would just auto-sync name change
