Clean Install: I get a download dialog box unexpectedly.

Maybe this is a question for the Crome Forum - so I'll post it there too.

I, seeming randomly, get a pop-up dialog box which shows a filename and a place to choose where I want to download it to (you know, this is the standard download window when you want to download an app and want to save it where you want). The filename is always something I've downloaded in the past. The problem is: I'm not engaged in downloading anything at the time. Any ideas why this is happening?

    What is the file name?

Do you have Ccleaner? If not download it and run it. This will clean your browser(s).

I have run Ccleaner Pro many times. I'll send a screenshot later. Thank you.

The file name varies - but it is always a file I have previously downloaded. I'll send a screenshot later. Thank you.

    Here's a screenshot..........

Here's a typical screenshot. It just occasionally pops up when I'm not trying to download anything. I haven't been able to determine what I'm doing at the time (looking for a pattern or trigger).

EasyBCD EasyBCD - NeoSmart Technologies is a legit program, I use it all the time but no idea why would Chrome want to download it by it's own.

Can you check where it's downloaded from? Check what extensions you have got inside Chrome browser too.
