Start menu search not finding applications?

    Right click on the taskbar, mouse to Search, then set it to show the icon or the whole search box.

    Right click on the task bar > move the cursor to "Search" > left click on "Show search box"

    Could be, i have another PC installing Windows 10 ATM i will test if it works on that

    Were you able to find Outlook in the Microsoft office all apps folder?

    Yes all Office programs show up in the folder

    I can find the exe file by typing out the the name and the extension like so: outlook.exe

    You do not have a problem as those programs are registered Out look is not under O but in a folder under Microsoft your other programs may be hiding in a folder also.

    UPDATE:

    I can confirm that this problem does not exicst on my laptop wich i just upgaded and did a clean install on, so it must be tied to a corrupt registry.

    Is there any chance of doing a repair on the registry without reinstalling?
      My Computer
