Is it just prompts, or is it your whole display?

I just messed w/ my scaling settings and got a similar result.

Right-click desktop->Display Settings > click advanced scaling and try to check your rate/ set it back to 100%

You can also select different fonts via personalize (Right-click Desktop -> personalize > click fonts right-side menu and select desired font.

Also, just doing a reset, you may need to check your display drivers and update as needed, especially for a dedicated vid card.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers

You can try restoring your default font settings

Control Panel -> fonts -> font settings (top left) -> click restore default font settings.

I just found this, but haven't tried it: How to Change Text Sizes and Fonts in Windows 10
If you haven't already, you can try downloading the utility mentioned to see if that helps.

You may want to do a fresh reset. If you just did one, there shouldn't be too much to back up that isn't already backed up.

    Good luck!

    Try an in-place upgrade?

Not sure if it'll help, but i zipped my font folder. You can try downloading and replacing yours (c:\windows\fonts)

    Fonts: Uploadfiles.io - Fonts.zip

    Good luck!
