Our app developers run Bluestacks and seem to have no issues with it, either.
Bluestacks used to be REALLY slow and sluggish, so I uninstalled it and never looked back. It might be better now though, I have no idea. I used to run Genymotion and it was a jet engine compared to anything else out there until AMIDuOS got released, which I finally purchased.

Looks interesting. I haven't tried that tool though. But it seems it's quite fast, must be since it's advertised for playing games and getting quite good reviews too.
I tried bluestacks and that worked ok but Memu was faster and didn't give me any errors so kept it.

I'm no developer, but a Network Admin. My info in this thread has come from our in-house app developers. They seem to like it.

I need an Android emulator that lives on the same LAN segment as the host machine. Memo lives on the 10.0.2.x subnet and Bluestacks on the127.1.2.x subnet but for me it needs to be on the 192.168.1.X subnet to support apps I use (like casting to Chromecast). Ideas?
