Brand new pc freezing and running slowly

    Hello,

So the problem is that my computer (which is brand new) is running very slowly for example: opening browser, opening programs, loading map in cs:go. I don't know what it could be. I've checked my hdd with seatools and it says the disk condition is good.

Here are my pc specs if needed:
    OS: Windows 10 64bit
    Cpu: i5 7400
    Gpu: MSI GTX 1060 3gb
    Mobo: MSI b250m pro-vd
Psu: be quiet system power 8 500w
    hdd: Seagate BarraCuda
    Ram: 8gb GoodRam DDR4 2400mhz

Are all updates applied and all drivers up to date? Can you open Task Manager and see what's going on during the "slowness"? It also wouldn't hurt to test the memory with Memtest.

one thing i noticed with your specs is that you don't have an ssd.. that might be the reason your experiencing slow load times with your programs/games.

If the computer is less then 30 days old, you can take it back to the store you bought it from and replace it under warranty. If you have had it for more then one month, but less then one year, you can send it into the computer manufacturer and have them fix it for free under warranty.
There is no reason to monkey around with a brand new computer, it should work out of the box. As stated, return it and get one with an SSD drive. The 1TB Seagate drive may have shipped with Bad Sectors.

The one thing i noticed is that CPU and RAM usage seems normal but when opening something directly after boot the Disk usage jumps to 100% and stays there for a while.

Again, if it's new, take it back.
If you want to mess around with it, try doing a Clean Boot. If that works, enable one Startup Item or Service and reboot until the computers Disk Usage jumps, then you will know the problematic program or driver.
