I just find it amazing that Microsoft does not listen to or care about it's customers.

Polish what you have before adding/removing features. Linux doesn't aggravate me!

    Enough said!
I can't believe this still needs to be said, but one person's experience doesn't determine whether a product is good or not! Linux distros have plenty of their own issues upon release, and you're fooling yourself if you think they don't. If Microsoft didn't listen to it's customers, they wouldn't be the company they are today. There's absolutely no rationale to support that.

Do what you want, as it is your computer, but there's no reason to hold off on this build. If you want to switch to Linux, go for it, but you're going to be really disappointed if you think it's an issue free playground.

All I really care about with Windows Updates are Security Updates only. I don't want more features in this operating system. If I want to customize something, there are many 3rd party apps that can do that very easily.

If you think Microsoft doesn't care, you should try Apple. Often they think they know best.

If only there were just ONE such person.

Just how many problems SHOULD BE in this release? Mmmmmm ... approximately ZERO. Anything more is bad. Don't paper it over with EXCUSES FOR POOR QUALITY.

Back to the registry to insert the "metered" hack.

Can you find me an operating system that has zero bugs? How about any large software packages? Didn't think so.

Windows ME was top notch my friend...Not really. It was the worst OS ever. Even worst then Vista. If you didn't get 3 BSOD a day. Your were lucky lol.

I'm unsurprised to see a plethora of problems on the forum after the latest 1803 feature upgrade. I have no intention of upgrading for at least 3 months to give MS time to iron out the bugs.
I have been stubbornly blocking any new versions beyond 1607 for quite some time now.
I always have an image of my OS and after trying the FCU I went straight back to 1607.
I have been on 1803 since launch and it's actually working perfectly with everything I use.
Clean install of course, I don't believe in updates.

    Go figure.

    Non sequitur.

Bugs exists. But NONE should exist. The existence of bugs is no excuse for them.
You deserve the whatever level of quality you expect. And apparently your expectations are low. So enjoy the new rollout. You'll be satisfied! :)

What? You're missing all of the new features!

Oh, wait! You're not really missing anything (except for new bugs). So, never mind. :)
