    NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate

    After upgrade to 1803 , RS4 , I could not set this " NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate" to 1 ( regedit , FileSystem)
Its set to " 80000006" after each reboot , so from 1 to this 80000006 .
This means I can not disable it anymore , which is bad for the SSD !

I could not find a reason or working solution to fix it , so went back to 1709 and all is normal again !
Anybody in the forum who faced the same error , or has a solution .................??

MS changed the default value for this key from "1" to "80000003" ( enabled) , so seems nothing wrong …………!

Mine stays the same. Maybe OneDrive or something, that can take advantage of it, enables it.

Well then, I hope you are right that Microsoft just changed the value! I even tried to refuse System access to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ System\ CurrentControlSet\ Control\ FileSystem But It still would get changed after every restart.
