Inaccessible boot device

I am seriously facing the worst issue.. I installed Windows 10 on my Lenovo G580 4GB-1TB system. After installing I was unable to do windows update due to .netfx3.5. I manually installed 1709 new kB. (601 MB). After update I was asked to reboot. After rebooting. I got INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE error. And when I checked my system restore point it was not there. I then booted system with Windows 10 media. When I tried to do install. It showed me Only 1 disk. And that too was Unallocated Space of 931.5GB. There are no partitions i can see. I really want to have those partitions. Kindly help.

Not sure if I can help but I a couple of questions. In your second sentence you mentioned after installing, I assume that was windows that you were installing, correct? was it a clean install? After the install you said the machine wouldn't update but were your disks / partitions as they should have been.

You said it only showed 1 disk. Are there more disk in machine that are not showing?

On disk 1 you said there was 931.5GB of allocated space. What were you expecting to see? Did you have a data partition or maybe two data partitions that are now showing as unallocated?

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but maybe you can have a try. Windows operating system backups a working registry for recovery purpose. You can perform registry backup restoring to fix the inaccessible boot device error. The pre-condition is that you can access to the Advanced startup opotions of your PC. You'll need to use the command prompt.
Also, steps are a little bit complicated. However, if you follow the guide strictly, no mistake should be made. You can Google how to restore from Registry Backup, or refer to this article for help. Inaccessible Boot Device Lenovo.

"INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE" msg suggests it is hardware (or driver) problem; in addition to missing disk. Try to disconnect your ntb from power supply and to remove battery for one minute. Then check your BIOS settings (SATA/AHCI/RAID). If it does not help, open your ntb and check your disk-related HW (SATA & power cables, connectors, disk itself).
