Help with the INFAMOUS Windows Preview Pane

    Hello All!

First time poster, long time reader here. Thank you in advance for all your help.

Just wondering, has anyone experience frequent bugging/crashing when the "preview pane" is activated in the Windows File Explorer? PDF files (and most other types of files, in my experience) seem to preview just fine, but Excel files are causing me headaches. Is there any way to adjust what types of files show up in the "preview" section of the window and what types don't? You have to click on the file to open it, obviously, so the only way around this bug for me at the moment is to disable preview pane.

The preview pane is a big time saver for me, especially when working out of Dropbox, hence the post.
