Yep, with all the news these days of mail horror stories. I have mine setup to get a text when anything happens to mine. Every step of the way to my hands from where it came from lol.

I almost had to wait another day (or never get it) because of the mail delivery person. She drove right past me to the corner of the street. Sat there about 5 mintues, then marked the package as "No auth - Signature needed" and got out of her van with only letters for the house on the corner. I got the text alert about "no auth" and promptly ran down there and confronted her. She tried to play it off like she didn't see it, but I was like you just marked it as if I wasn't home. BUSTED. She went back into the van for a minute then was like "it got pushed under the seat and I didn't see it". I just signed for it and didn't push the issue.

I really wanted to say "If you didn't see it, how in the blue hell did you just mark it "no auth" ?????

Hahhah, this reminds me of how all went, when I ordered printer ink from Canon, which got delivered via DHL. Because of the way Canon asked for my address and apt. number, the list of addresses on the mailmans paper only contained street name and number.


The DHL guy marked the delivery as "Not valid address". What ticked me off, is that the package itself had more than enough data to deliver my package. It even contained my phone number.


I called DHL and complained. Got the package next day.

Some people should just not be in the delivery business... :)

Fellow geeks, the Q&A video will be posted quite soon. I am working for it all the time but got some weird issues when encoding audio.

Posting it is my #1 priority but I cannot promise any specific time. I will post it when ready.

Just completed my first "remote" Macrium image restore today. No one was on the other end; Macrium handled it completely. So easy!
