Wynona,
What is the method that you use?
How long do they last in the refrig?
Because pineapples are high acid fruits, I used the water bath method, Zbook. You can get the Ball Blue Book Guide to Preserving at Walmart in their canning section.
Once the pineapples are canned they will last six months to a year, but not in this house! If you don't can them they will last awhile in the refrigerator, but not too long. Freezing is a good method; just put 'em in freezer containers and into the freezer. Thaw when ready to eat.
Thx. Wynona
Geeks, some "half time" information.
I finally got everything that will be sent to winners yesterday. Paid all shipping costs online, printed the documents, took them and already packed prizes to my local post an hour ago. Sample is from Microsoft gift bag going to @Access Denied (Ten Forums coffee mug has already been sent separately to him by John (z3r010), our owner & admin):
Murpy's law says "If shit can happen, it will happen". Kari's variation of Murphy's law: "If something is going to go wrong for someone, I am always that someone". Like this time; the scanners at post office were not working, meaning the customs labels could not be printed. As they close on Saturday's at 13:00 (1 PM) and it was already almost 12:30, it was clear that they will be closed before technician has any chance to get there.
Next try on Monday morning, please be patient guys.
Kari
OK guys, all prizes sent. @Access Denied, your's is a bit bigger one, for that I got a tracking code which I have PMd to you.
@cereberus, @slicendice, @Fabler and @ddelo, you are all in EU, your prizes should arrive within a few days. @OldMike65, it might take a week or two for yours to arrive to USA.
Once again, congratulations to all winners. Geeks, I would appreciate if you could post in this thread when you have received your prize, just to be sure.
Kari
