Probably the switch from Pro updates some registry key Macrium doesn't like but I dunno what.
Yeah, I doubt anything has changed softwarevice even if MS does not charge any money for it.

There is a way to check what type of OS it is, using CMD. I don't remember what the command is, but will see if I can find it.

    EDIT: @lx07

What does your Windows display when issuing this command?
    Code:
    systeminfo | findstr OS

    I get this:
    Code:
OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
    OS Version: 10.0.17134 N/A Build 17134
    OS Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation
    OS Configuration: Standalone Workstation
    OS Build Type: Multiprocessor Free
BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc. U46SV.204, 03.11.2011

OS Configuration might be different for you.

It was just idle curiosity about what version of Macrium worked on what Windows version really and you answered back in post #89. If I'm not messing around it works fine - certainly I don't want to pay €250 so I can run Macrium on a unreleased and unsupported version of Windows that frankly has too many other problems.

Have to work this weekend unfortunately so best of luck with the meeting all :)

Those wanting to set calendar reminders for any of tomorrow's three session, this ZIP archive contains iCalendar files for each part. Simply double click any of them to add event to your calendar: TF Saturday Live - The Macrium Special.zip

Reminder on each is set to 15 minutes before the event.

Cliff told me on Skype just now that he had applied those three calendar files from my last post, then asked Cortana about tomorrow. Listen the results

    Dear Ten Forums guests.

I want to remind you that TenForums Saturday Live Chats are open to anyone. You don't have to be a TenForums member, you do not need any email, Skype or other accounts. You can and will be totally anonymous.

That anonymity will be somewhat lost if it happens that you will win one of the prices in our sweepstakes and want to claim it (prize draw in this thread on Sunday evening Central European time as live video broadcast). After the draw, I will post instructions in this thread about how to claim your prize.

Member or not, you are welcome to join us!
