Only thing we guests have to worry about is to be there on time, so we have time to check that our audio is working (headset sound and mic) before the event. :)
    Yes.

Half an hour before each session I will post a link in this thread. it takes a minute for you geeks to join.

To be sure everyone knows how to do it, here once more complete instructions:

When the link has been posted, half an hour before start of each session, just click the link. You will be asked how would you like to join. Select Skype Meetings App (web):

    Run the plugin installer:

    Let the plugin install:

When plugin has been installed, join the meeting:

Select your preferred screenname (would be nice if TF members used their TF username!) and click join:

That's it. it takes you less than a minute to install plugin and join. Notice that screenshots are from Microsoft Edge, but the principle, how it works, is same whatever browser you are using.

Here's a screenshot I posted before our last TF Saturday Live Chat in March to show the user interface:

Out of interest does paid version work on server? I changed my 10 Pro to rdsh server edition (by putting in generic key which activates fine) and Macrium stopped working - "not available on server" it said. I have the free version of Macrium.

There is a server edition for servers. It back's up a lot of interesting server related stuff.

There is a comparison table HERE

Your link doesn't say what edition/version of Macrium works where though.

Macrium Free doesn't work on ServerRDSH (which you can upgrade to for free from Pro if you enter the generic -2YV66 key you find in the product.ini) . You'll be activated too even if you never had a license.

I was wondering if the paid version of Macrium worked - which is why I asked.

    A reasonable question I think.

LOL, yes it is a reasonable question, and my answer was also reasonable.

Did you look at the whole page? Is Windows 10 Server Remote Desktop Session Host a Workstation or Server class OS? Since the name says Server, I assume it is a server.

...sooo...Where on the Macrium page I linked to does it say "Server class OS backup and restore" and to which edition(s) of Macrium Reflect does it apply?

Everything is there if you want to see it.

No. Was only asking if anyone knew.

I still don't know the answer.

    Are you serious?

OK, well here is your answer:
In order to be able to run Macrium Reflect on a Server Grade Windows, you need to purchase Macrium Reflect Server, which cost at minimum €247.50. If you also need the ability to backup databases live you need Macrium Reflect Server Plus, which cost you €539.10.

Here are the product pages for the editions that work on server grade Windows:
    1. Macrium Reflect Server
    2. Macrium Reflect Server Plus

Actually ServerRDSH is a client SKU. You can swap to it (for free) from Pro by entering the generic key. It isn't released as part of Server any more (not in 2018 Preview anyway - it was in 2016)

Probably the switch from Pro updates some registry key Macrium doesn't like but I dunno what.
